Hello and welcome to this blog.
While a blog is not a new tool, I though that as I get ready to begin my year long residency with Mile Zero Dance that it would be an easy and accessible tool to have other see into my thoughts and process of this residency.
I am a little surprised that I was selected by Mile Zero Dance as their next artist in resident (AIR) as they have chosen dancers in the past and I am feeling a nervous and intimidated about being viewed through dancer's vistas as it is not my mode of expression anymore. I do, however feel welcomed by this close knit and intense group of cultural producers.
I hope that over the next year you will take a few moments to check in on my process, and progress, and perhaps make comments, suggestion and engage in a dialogue about this residency and the work that grows from it.
